CENTER OF EXCELLENCE-INDUSTRY 4.0 (SRUJAN)

The Centre of Excellence in Industry 4.0 – “Srujan” at Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre was inaugurated on 25 April 2025 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Neiphiu Rio. The inaugural programme was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Shri B. P. Kalyani,Executive Director, BFL, Dr. Leena Deshpande, Assoc. VP (HR) & Head CSR, BFL ; Smt. Hekani Jakhalu, Hon’ble Advisor, Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland; Shri Sunil Sitaram Chore,Chairman & Managing Director, Simu Soft Technologies; Er. Petehetuo Miasalhou, Director, Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre; and Shri P. Tokugha Sema, Director, Industries & Commerce and CEO, NTTC, marking a significant milestone in advancing Industry 4.0 skill development in the North-East region.

The Center of Excellence (CoE) at Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur, has been established through a strategic collaboration with Bharat Forge Limited and Simusoft Technologies under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Bharat Forge. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening advanced technical education and enhancing industry-relevant skills in the North-East region of India.

This Center of Excellence offers a range of training programs designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry needs. COE training modules cover key areas such as digital manufacturing, robotic automation, artificial intelligence, and more. Through hands-on sessions and real-world projects, we prepare students for the challenges and opportunities in the manufacturing landscape.

About the Center of Excellence

The CoE is designed as a state-of-the-art technological hub aimed at fostering innovation, research, and industry-oriented training. It features:

• Advanced Simulation Laboratory equipped with high-end workstations and licensed industrial software
• Incubation Centre to support innovation, prototyping, and product development
• Infrastructure that enables students and entrepreneurs to convert creative ideas into functional prototypes and market-ready solutions
• The facility provides a professional environment where learners gain exposure to real-time industrial tools and processes.
