DIPLOMA IN TOOL & DIE MAKING COURSE
- NTTC has been conducting job-oriented 4 years Diploma in Tool & Die Making course (approved by AICTE, New Delhi) including one year apprenticeship/OJT in reputed companies since inception. The annual intake of 30 students was upgraded to 60 students from the session June-July 2011-12.
- Diploma in Tool & Die Making course is equivalent to Diploma in Mechanical Engineering certified by SCTE, Government of Nagaland. The first 3 years is being conducted at NTTC, Dimapur and 1 year In-Plant Training in a reputed organization outside the State.
- The eligibility for training requirement is Matriculation in an English medium schooling with at least 45% of marks in aggregate ( With compulsory Maths & Science subjects) and must be within 16 to 19 years of age. (SC/ST candidates have relaxation of 5% in marks and 3 yrs. in the upper age limit). Intake capacity is 60 students annually.
Fee Structure:
Total Admission fee is Rs. 5000/- and Tuition fee Rs. 2500/- p.m. Hostel fee extra on actual expenditure.
Important Dates:
Classes starts – 3rd week of July every year.
Hostel Facility:
Hostel available for boys.
1. Students of Diploma in Tool and Die Making are eligible for scholarship under State/National Scholarship Portal
2. Incentives for the meritorious students from the Institute
3. Company allowances between 8000/- to 15000/- p.m. during the On-the-Job-Training / Industrial training period outside the State
4. Assistance for business loan from financial Institution will be provided for candidates willing to start entrepreneurship after course completion
