DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana)
The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Govt. of India has selected Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur as one of the Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) for the Govt. of India’s flagship programme DDU-GKY. NTTC is one of the few Govt. agencies selected for the project in India.
The scheme is being implemented through the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM). Under this programme, NTTC will be providing employable skills and job placement assistance to 850 youths. The Ministry is providing free residential trai ning and presently there are 100 trainees who are undergoing in the following courses;
