DIPLOMA IN TOOL & DIE MAKING COURSE
LONG TERM COURSE:
DIPLOMA IN TOOL AND DIE MAKING (DTDM)
- NTTC conducts job-oriented course 4-year Diploma in Tool and Die Making which is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to SCTE (State Council for Technical Education) Government of Nagaland.
- The first 3 years is being conducted at the Institute’s Campus and remaining 1 year In-Plant Training in a reputed organization within/ outside the State.
- The annual intake of 30 Students was upgraded to 60 during the Academic Year 2011-12
- This course Diploma in Tool and Die Making is recognized by SCTE as equivalent to 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- The eligibility criteria for this course is 10th Pass/ Equivalent (English Medium) with at least 45% of marks each in Mathematics & Science subjects having an age limit of 15-19 years (SC/ST candidates have relaxation of 5% marks and 3 Years in the upper age limit).
Fee Structure:
Total Admission fee is Rs. 8500/- which includes course admission Rs.5000/-, tuition fee Rs. 2500/- (monthly) and Rs.1000/- security deposit (refundable on completion of the course).
Hostel seats (limited) are available on first come first basis. Admission fee is Rs. 6500/- which includes admission fee Rs. 2000/-, Mess Fee (monthly) Rs.3500/- and Rs. 1000/- security deposit (refundable on completion of the course/ shifting out from hostel).
Important Dates:
Classes Starts – 3rd week of July every academic year.
Entrance Test & Interview Date – Conducted at NTTC as published in Local papers.
Admission – In the month of June every year.
Hostel Facility:
Hostel available for boys.
Stipendiary Support:
- Students of Diploma in Tool and Die Making are eligible for scholarship under State/National Scholarship Scheme
- Incentives for the meritorious students from the Institute.
- Assistance for business loan from financial Institutions will be provided for candidates willing to start entrepreneurship after course completion
