Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the Toyota Technical Education Programme (T-TEP) in collaboration with Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur on 23rd Sept.2022 at NTTC Campus, making it the 56th Institute in India and first in Nagaland to conduct such programmes. Hon’ble Commissioner & Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Nagaland Shri Kekhrievor Kevichusa, IPoS inaugurated the programme which was attended by Principal NTTC Er. Petehetuo Miasalhou, Dealer Principal of Okusa Toyota Vikheho Swu, Technical Advisor, TKM India Mr. Mikito Nishii, General Manager Associate TKM Mr. Varinder Kumar Wadhwa, dignitaries from Technical Education and ITI Education Board. Shri. Kekhrievor Kevichusa appreciated the initiative taken by NTTC to train students giving them a platform to learn the latest technology in the Automobile Sector. Mr. Vikheho Swu also spoke at the inaugural programme mentioning that with this initiative, students will avail the opportunity through e-learning, class-room training, practical training & On-Job-Training. During the programme, a total of 11 students who had completed their On-Job-Training from Toyota Motors were handed over certificates. In addition to this, two trainees were given job offers to work at their Industry Plant.
